These are all the questions I have always asked when I have no clue how to successfully run an online business. I have been working online for nearly a year but I have never made a dime. Making a dime online is like a dream. I have recently opened a new website for Cambodia business directory. This time I will make my business run a lifelong. However, I am on the stage of startup and really impatient about whether it will make me any money because I have to spend for the domain and hosting every month.
The only secret to online business is it requires a large amount of time devoted to it and if you do it a wrong way, it will end up in vain. However, the only mindset for this business is to do whatever it takes or persistence. I have opened Khmer Locate a week ago. Now I am working on promoting and ranking it.
What else about online business? It requires less capital but you need to have enough capital. It seems to be so easy and convenient to stay at home and work but the amount of work outperforms the normal job and it causes a lot of stress if you don't know how to cope with. It attracts you and makes you hope for millions of dollars of income from home but the job and skills required are considerable.
Some people are successful from online business from their own passion. They don't hope for any income from it but just do it for their own favor. However, their online business turned out to make them millionaires. Now I started to run my own online business for Cambodia business directory for my own pleasure.
In conclusion, online business requires a strong persistence and working from your own heart and don't expect anything. Now I am running a blog, called Ponnara's English Teaching Club (PETC), from my own passion in teaching students because my real skill is teaching English. I don't expect anything from it but just a website to share the materials for my students' improvement. It is just in the startup now.
